Not true! There are activities, occupations, jobs - and not just unpaid voluntary ones either - that you haven't even heard of but where your skills and experience are in demand. Yes; there are jobs waiting for you.

And I'm writing from personal experience as a senior without a pension who needs to earn a living and enjoys doing it.

This book is an invaluable resource for you. Not only does it contain lots of ideas, contacts, suggestions and how-to information, it inspires as well. If you read it and don't find something that suits you, the way the book is written will trigger ideas of your own that you would never have though of otherwise.

Get the book. Read it, browse through it, dip into it. You will find the right activity or it will find you.

Comment: So many seniors remain healthy and look for ways to be productive citizens after retirement. Why not seek new outlets to use one's skills and get paid? This book names diverse roles where retired seniors can work but is careful to explain any limitations or factors the senior should consider before attempting a specific role. As Baby Boomers age, this issue will only progress in importance. I applaud these authors for writing this book on such a timely subject- all written in large, easy to read print. I plan to share these ideas with seniors at my church and in my neighborhood.This would be a great gift book for seniors or anyone approaching retirement.

Comment: Among the threat of so many money-making scams, this is a refreshing book with realistic ideas for earning extra income. This book is filled with a multitude of ideas that fit my needs. It presents each idea with an honest perspective, pointing out important considerations for each job. It provides assistance in the assessment of not only what I am capable of doing, but also what my limitations are and what I am willing to do. This book is a valuable tool for senior citizens. I liked that there were so many options available in my own community.
